Full-stack Development
- Develop and maintain high-quality mobile and web applications, backend services, and databases.
- Work across the full stack to build scalable, secure, and user-friendly solutions.
- Optimise applications for performance, scalability, and security.
- Build and integrate RESTful APIs and third-party systems.
- Investigate, trace, and resolve issues across distributed systems.
- Support the deployment, monitoring, and maintenance of applications in Google Cloud Platform.
Cross-functional Collaboration
- Collaborate closely with Senior Developers, QA Engineers, the Tech Lead, CTO, UI/UX Designers, Product Managers, and DevOps Engineers.
- Participate throughout the product development lifecycle, from planning and implementation to deployment and optimisation.
- Work within an Agile development environment using Jira and Confluence.
- Communicate technical decisions clearly and contribute to shared engineering standards and best practices.
What We’re Looking For:
Required
- 6+ years of professional experience in full-stack development.
- Strong backend development experience with Node.js, Redis, Kafka, and message brokers.
- Proven experience with microservices architecture and scalable system design.
- Experience working with PostgreSQL and MongoDB or comparable database technologies.
- Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs and third-party system integrations.
- Strong JavaScript and ES6+ skills, with experience in ReactJS, Redux, React Native, or comparable front-end frameworks.
- Ability to write secure, optimised, and high-performance code.
- Ability to investigate, trace, and resolve distributed system issues.
- Strong abstract thinking, system design, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience using AI-assisted development tools, such as Cursor, Claude Code, or Windsurf, to improve productivity while maintaining code quality.
- Professional proficiency in written and spoken English.
Preferred
- Experience in the FinTech industry.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and Google Cloud services.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation.
- A strong interest in continuous learning and emerging technologies.
- Interest in sports, fan engagement, or digital consumer products.
